The Dragonfly is one of the special editions from the Bösendorfer brand, which becomes a clear demonstration of a high-end level of musical instrument production with its own distinctive designs and unique handcraft methods.
The decorative concept was inspired by Schönbrunn Palace, where the summer scent of Queen Maria Theresa and her fiancé, Francis I, the Roman Emperor, was created by the sand-shading technique on the background. Veneers are also used throughout the woodworking process, including eight different types of wood: tulip wood, British and American walnut, bird’s eye tree, honeysuckle tree milletine tree, silky oak and gum tree.
The model is limited to 18 units.
